Dr. Aidin was born and raised in Mashhad, Iran. In 2005 he received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Mashhad. Dr. Aidin then continued his veterinary education after being accepted into a Residency Program in Small Animal Internal Medicine at the University of Tehran. He spent another four years completing this specialization.
Dr. Aidin completed his residency in 2009 and began his career as an Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, at the Shiraz University in Iran. Dr. Aidin has published many papers on studies of Veterinary Gastroenterology, Microbiology, Parasitology, and Clinical Pathology. He was also the co-founder of Mehr Shiraz Animal Hospital which opened its doors in August, 2010. This hospital became a well-respected veterinary practice, driven by service and excellence.
After 8 years of working in private practice and as an Associate Professor, Dr. Aidin made the difficult decision to sell his portion of the practice and, with his wife Samaneh, move to Canada in July 2018. Upon arriving in Canada Dr. Aidin worked for one year at Blue Sky Animal Hospital in North Bay, a very busy practice where Dr. Aidin was one of three veterinarians. He then moved to Richmond Hill and is currently working full-time as an emergency Veterinarian at the Vaughan-Richmond Hill Emergency Hospital.
Dr. Aidin will begin working with us, part-time, on the available days he is not scheduled at the emergency hospital. When not working Dr. Aidin enjoys going to the gym, swimming, and hiking.
